En mi flamante instalación de cakephp me encuentro un error muy feo…
Warning: strtotime() [http://php.net/function.strtotime]: It is not safe to rely on the system’s timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier.
Despues de recuperar el aliento, buscando en google encuentro que se refiere a que no esta configurada la zona horaria en php, así que manos a la obra a modificar php.ini y agregarle
date.timezone = “America/Mexico_City”
O dependiendo del pais, si viven en america pueden consultar http://cr.php.net/manual/en/timezones.america.php
En mi caso tuve que reiniciar el equipo… aunque seguramente con el apache sería suficiente.

, fue algo extraño este error porque ya antes habia instalado xampp, bueno, seguire con mi instalacion de cakephp. Buen dia!!!
